The meeting was attended by the EBRD Regional Director for Central Asia and Mongolia Huseyn Ozhan, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilhom Norkulov, Deputy Minister Ilhomjon Umrzakov, and other responsible representatives.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed mutual cooperation, the current state of joint projects and future plans, as well as economic processes in our country. Specifically:
· Special attention was given to issues of economic growth trends in Uzbekistan, including GDP growth and ensuring the stability of inflation rates;
· Results of ongoing reforms in the energy sector and measures to increase their effectiveness;
· Ongoing work on the privatization of state-owned banks and its results;
· Support for small and medium-sized enterprises, including artificial intelligence and startup projects, and expanding their scope;
· Development of transport infrastructure and support for the logistics sector;
· Processes related to World Trade Organization membership.
· Support for green growth: projects being implemented, particularly providing social facilities with green energy, utilizing modern energy-saving technologies, and broadly involving the private sector in the field;
· Public-private partnership: supporting projects;
· Housing market financing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop cooperative relations and expand the process of exchanging views.
