The Head of State initiated the construction of this complex on June 27 of last year. Within the framework of the project, which spans 400 hectares, a total of 31 investment projects worth $1.2 billion are planned in collaboration with Chinese investors.
During this period, the necessary infrastructure was developed and production facilities were built. The first enterprise has recently commenced operations – a $10 million project by the Chinese company Xinjiang Honglin Tiandi for the production of concrete products. The facility has already created 60 jobs.
Work on the implementation of the second project, valued at $42 million, is nearing completion. Under this project, production of 300,000 units of household electrical appliances per year is planned under the Midea brand. The initiative will create 150 new jobs.
The President was informed about these initiatives and those to come.
As part of the first phase, nine projects have been allocated within the industrial zone. Currently, construction is underway on seven additional projects, valued at approximately $300 million. These will establish production facilities for construction materials, metal structures, electrical and chemical products, as well as logistics and training centers.
Overall, the implementation of all projects in the technopark is expected to enable the production of industrial goods worth approximately 5 trillion UZS, the launch of 15 new product types, and the development of an export potential of $70 million. Most importantly, more than 5,000 jobs are expected to be created.
The Head of State gave instructions to accelerate the implementation of the projects, provide comprehensive support to investors, and emphasized the importance of training qualified specialists for the new enterprises and ensuring employment opportunities for young people.
