During the talks, key areas of Uzbek-Georgian cooperation were discussed. The parties agreed on further steps in the areas of trade, transport connectivity, logistics, investment partnership, as well as interregional cooperation.

It was noted that over the past five years, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Georgia has increased 3.5 times. In 2024 alone, trade volumes increased by almost 50% more. The mutual focus on the development of industrial cooperation, primarily in the textile, fruit and vegetable, pharmaceutical and other industries, was emphasized.

For the effective implementation of the agreements reached between the two ministries, a Joint Working Group has been established with the participation of relevant experts.
